Due to our location, we are easily accessible for all of Waltham Forest including Leyton/Leytonstone, Walthamstow and Chingford. We are also commutable for pupils based in Wanstead, Snaresbrook, Woodford and Stratford.

Admissions to Leytonstone School are managed by the local authority. Year 6 pupils wishing to join Leytonstone School should follow the transition guidance from the London Borough of Waltham Forest on selection of their school placements and return the necessary forms to the admissions authority by the published date. We are unable to accept any applications for a school place directly.

If the school is oversubscribed the following criteria is used by the admissions authority to decide upon the intake for the school:

• Statement of special educational needs (EHCP)
• Certain medical conditions
• Siblings currently attending the school
• A child of a qualified teacher employed at the school
