A message from Mr Ahmed - Head of Year 10

Year 10 marks a significant step in our students' education as they begin their GCSE courses and start preparing for important examinations ahead. Alongside their academic studies, students will also take part in work experience this year, where we hope they will gain a valuable insight into the world of work and develop skills that will support their future choices. From hospitals and apprenticeships, to retail establishments, we are working hard to prepare placements for our Year 10s and provide them with a wide range of insight into the "Real world". 

This year is about building strong foundations, developing resilience and making the most of every opportunity whilst working together. We have therefore aptly provided our year 10s with a tag-line of "The Climb" based on our ethos of working hard and growing together as members of the Leytonstone community. With dedication and support, our Year 10 cohort will be well-prepared for success in Year 11 and beyond.
