The School Timetable

At Leytonstone School we operate a fortnightly timetable cycle with the two weeks labelled Week A and Week B.

The rotation of the two-week cycle is paused during school closures to ensure an even distribution of lessons throughout the academic year.

Please refer to the table below for information on each term’s starting week for academic year 2025/26. 

Our pupil population is separated into two tiers for Year 7/10/11 and Year 8/9. Both tiers operate on a 5 period day (60 min single lesson, 120 min double lesson), with alternating break and lunch times.

Opening Hours

• Monday-Friday (Term Time): 8am-4pm
• Monday-Friday (School Holidays) 9am-12pm
• Weekends and Bank Holidays: Closed
