Governor End of Term Message

18 July 2019

Leytonstone Governors Summer 2019 message:

The Governors want to offer huge thanks to all the staff of Leytonstone school, who have worked so tirelessly and passionately throughout the year to support the learning and personal growth of Leytonstone students.

We would also like to say thank you and send our best wishes to all the staff who are leaving leytonstone for new pastures and adventures. We wish you luck and hope you will all keep in touch. In particular, we would like to convey a very special and sincere thank you from the Governors to the exiting acting headteacher, Mr Raza Ali, who will be missed, in particular by the students, and who cannot be thanked enough for his hard work, stepping in and leading the school with such energy and positivity over the last two terms. We wish you the very best of luck and every success in your new headship Mr Ali!

Lastly, we would like to wish all our students a fun and happy summer holiday – Do remember that you are all still Leytonstone students and part of the Leytonstone family, even in holiday time! Get active and enjoy the long summer days because, after all, winter is coming! Above all, be sensible, be kind and stay safe – Look after yourself and your friends, both in real life and online.

September is going to be a busy and exciting time. A new headteacher, new staff, an extra class in year 7 and exciting developments on the school site. We look forward to seeing you all again in the autumn term, recharged, refreshed and ready to start a new learning journey!

Best wishes
