Thanks for all your support at the various functions in the run up to the Christmas break. We had a packed house for the Whole School Performance of Bugsy Malone. Well done to all involved in that and thank you for your support. Also our tea party for the older members of the community on 14th December was a great success. This was organised by our Year 8 students and Ms Campbell who did a brilliant job.
We have a number of vacancies for parent governors. In the New Year we will formally be inviting applications. If you are interested whether – you have not been a governor or not – or would like to know more about the role, please get in touch. We are hoping that our governing body can represent our ethnic and cultural diversity at the school. Parents of all students welcome.
As we approach the end of term, I would like to clarify arrangements for the end of term and start of the spring term.
School will end at 1.20 on Tuesday 19h December. Those students who would like a school lunch are welcome to collect a packed lunch from the restaurant.
School will restart for students and staff on Wednesday 3rd January. This will be a normal school day, starting for all students at 8.40 a.m.
Wishing you a restful and a relaxing Christmas break.
