Introduction

GCSE Drama allows you to further develop your creative thinking, self-esteem and social awareness.  The format of lessons is similar to Key Stage 3, where we work on and discuss issues, events, morality, social concerns and so on – explored through discussion and practical work.  We also work on play texts and present a play to an external examiner.

Why Drama

You should choose Drama if you enjoy learning in a practical environment, like discussing important issues, and would enjoy experimenting with the skills used in performance.  Drama is a fun and active way to learn about yourself and the wider world in which we live.  To be successful you need to be energetic and willing to be active every lesson.
