Leytonstone Schools Spring term will end at 12.20pm on Thursday 24th March.
This will be a non-uniform day for students. Students not in full school uniform will be asked to pay £1.00 towards our chosen charity in Nepal that has helped to support a village in the Himalayas called Barpak.
School will restart for the Summer term on Tuesday 12th April. This is a day later than reported in our original calendar published in September and apologies for any confusion regarding this. The school is closed to students on Monday 11th April to accommodate a teacher training day.
We wish you all a very restful and peaceful Easter break.

Happy World Book Day…
On Sunday 6th March 2016 Ms Khan and her family were invited to the ‘Big Write Event’ organised by the Discovery Centre in Stratford to celebrate World Book Day. The aim of the event was to encourage young people to read, write and draw! The event was attended by star illustrator Tony De Saulles. Mr De Saulles has been illustrating for the Horrible Science series for the past 20 years. His cartoon workshops allow young people to learn some key skills. One of the drawings shows the ‘disgusting digestive system’. On request, this was signed to Leytonstone School by Mr De Saulles.
“I used to be told off at school for doodling and now I get paid for it.” Tony De Saulles
